Community Outreach
Desert Care Network brings together an entire system of healthcare serving our desert communities from the eastern Coachella Valley to the Morongo Basin. This unified network includes:
- Desert Regional Medical Center
- JFK Memorial Hospital
- Hi-Desert Medical Center
- Affiliated ambulatory surgery centers
- Urgent care centers
- Primary and specialty care clinics

We offer advanced technologies and groundbreaking treatments at convenient locations, close to home. And as a unified network, we can enhance care coordination between our hospitals and our affiliated entities for the patients we treat.
We’re
as diverse as the communities we serve, and we also share many of the same goals and interests as the patients who rely on us. At the end of the day, we are more than doctors, nurses and caregivers – we are also an integral part of our community,
because this is where we live, shop, work, play and volunteer.
Medical Foundation
The Desert Care Network Primary & Specialty Care is a nonprofit medical foundation that helps address the critical shortage of primary care physicians and specialists in our region. We make access to quality healthcare easier for our residents
and visitors. Giving back to the community Our doctors, nurses and employees spend countless hours supporting community endeavors like:
- American Heart Association’s Heart Walk
- American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life
- Desert AIDS Walk
- Pride Parade
- Senior centers
- Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine
- Health screenings, educational lectures and other events throughout the year
We give of our time because we want to – it’s part of who we are as the Desert Care Network family. We also support future nurses through scholarships to California State University San Bernardino, Palm Desert Campus. Our physician residency
programs train new doctors and work with them to establish practices in our community.
By the Numbers
We work hard to develop the relationships we have with the communities we serve – and are thankful for the opportunity to keep our communities healthy. It’s exciting to see that we make a difference.
