Designated Trauma Centers

Riverside County EMS has designated two Desert Care Network hospitals as official trauma centers for our region, providing 24/7 care for victims of accident or injury. Desert Regional Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center, the highest level in the Coachella Valley. JFK Memorial Hospital has been named a Level IV Trauma Center, providing immediate care and stabilization, and transferring the most serious cases to its sister hospital when needed. We are proud to offer this network of care to our community.

Our cancer experts have been providing a team approach to cancer care for more than 30 years. We now serve our region through two locations – in Palm Springs and La Quinta.
