About Eugene Lam
We are continuing to bring world-class healthcare to our communities with Eugene Lam, MD now in our expanding network. Dr. Lam has vast experience from his gastroenterology training from 2003-2006, as well as his work in the Upper Napa Valley and former private practice experience in Santa Monica, CA. Dr. Lam has been involved in research studies regarding prevention of bleeding from esophageal varices and published multiple research papers. He participated in research at Boston Medical Center that contributed to publications in Cancer Research journal (2003) and British Journal of Cancer (2004), both regarding the use of cox-2 inhibitors and prevention of colon cancer growth and metastatic disease.
In the past, Dr. Lam has enjoyed volunteering his time teaching endoscopy to the UCLA GI fellows, as a way to give back to his training program. He lives with his wife, their three children and is a devoted family man. Together they enjoy soccer, baseball, fishing, skiing, and cooking as a family. He is currently accepting new patients and most major insurance plans.

The front office staff were. very friendly and helpful. I spoke to the staff the day I scheduled and came in to pick up new patient forms that they were the most courteous staff I have come across in the desert and it made my experience very easy and pleasant. Dr. Lam was warm, patient, thorough and informative in my visit. He took his time explaining test results and the next step with me and all new patient information. He went the extra mile in helping support me with diets and menus, dos and don'ts whlie working through these medical issues. I would recommend him and their office to everyone. Thank you.
