The intricate and mobile design of these body parts, coupled with the use and abuse sustained each day, can make this region of the body highly susceptible to injury.
Dr. Ramin Pooyan, a hand and upper extremity specialist with the Institute of Clinical Orthopedics and Neurosciences at Desert Regional, will give a talk on treatment options for pain in the hand and wrist. Common causes are arthritis, sport injuries and overuse from repetitive activities.
