David Hill, PA brings over 30 years of experience as a physician assistant to his practice. He started his career as an athletic trainer for the San Diego Padres. More recently, David’s career has focused on orthopedics including specialties in trauma care and adult reconstructive surgery. In his patient-centered, individualized care practice, David believes that working collaboratively with his patients is paramount in providing the best possible outcomes. He is most proud when his patients see improvement and healing through his care and are able to get back to doing things they love. Outside the office, David enjoys hiking and pickle ball. The staff works like one fluid organism from greeting/check in through getting weight/blood pressure stats to time with the doctor and checkout. I do not know how they do that but to my mind it's because they both like and communicate with each other well! Everyone knows their job and executes it to the best of their ability. No grumbling, sour faces, treating the patient like an object not a human being. None of that stuff! Like a breath of fresh air!

I think of all the years I've been going my longest weight my been 17 to 20 minutes, never more than 20 minutes. Never more than 4 to 6 minutes, waiting in the exam room. Dr. Hill always comes in with my injections waiting to go. And like this time I needed my trigger finger done so as soon as he finished with my Knees, he went out, made up my shock. We giggled because the hand injections hurt so much more.. We discuss it he gives me a pillow to put in my lap. We talk about it what triggers it how I got it and then he gives me the injection.. Always laughing and he remembers when you tell him things that have happened in your life like losing three parents in two years. Very thoughtful.

I've been to several orthopedic offices and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. I called and was able to be seen the next day. When I came in for my appointment all the staff greeted me with a smile and were very friendly. Then I only had to wait maybe 5 minutes before being put in a room. The PA David Hill was then in the room not even 5 minutes later. He was very kind listened to me gave me a diagnosis and let me n ow to follow up in 6 weeks. Each staff member (I interacted with five) explained whatthey needed from me. They explained what was going on and who I would see next and what they would do. I dudnt need to ask many questions because I was so well informed along the way, Every single person in that office is extremely pleasant in a very genuine way. Love Dr. Hill. He was the PA for Dr. Rogers in 2014 when I got my left hip replaced which is still perfect. He always smiles, has a great personality and engages me in why I am there and gets X-rays and then tells me what I fractured or broke and what we are going to do about it to make me good as new. Very complimentary if I'm improving and that makes me try harder to make both him and I proud of my accomplishments. So happy to have him now for my fractured shoulder and broken toes!

I always tell my family and friends who live in the desert how great Dr Rogers and Dr Hill are and so is everyone who works with them. I was so very happy when my GP doctor's nurse called and told me that I was going to see Dr.. Hill for my shoulder as I thought They only did hips and knees. My husband had just died and I was down in the dumps but I was so thrilled I was going to see Dr. Hill that my depression disappeared overnight and I couldn't wait for my appointment!

When I made my appointment, I explain to the appointment staff that I was seeking exam so I could get a letter of opinion from the physicians assistant as to my Osteo myelitis, the PA explained that it would be too much work for him to give his opinion in writing to me as to what caused my osteomyelitis and my operation all I was asking for was a letter of opinion of his opinion anyway someone can contact me if they want. I'll be glad to do that and maybe we can get a letter provided to me. Thank you.
