Laura Lee, MD

Dr. Laura Lee is a specialist in breast surgery, general surgery and oncology surgery with more than 20 years experience. Her areas of interest are breast surgery, oncoplastic techniques, minimally invasive procedures and the integration of new technology into breast care. Prior to joining the Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2007, Dr. Lee completed a breast surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine, Division of Tumor/Endocrine Surgery. While a fellow at USC, Dr. Lee was awarded the Scientific Impact Recognition Award from the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Dr. Lee earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and completed residencies in general surgery and trauma/ surgical critical care at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, N.J. She sees patients at the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs and at the Cancer Center’s satellite in La Quinta.
