Hi-Desert Medical Center Names Dr. W. Steven Bush, MD and Dr. Ayad Gharghoury, MD as 2018 Doctors of the Year

Hi-Desert Medical Center today announced Dr. W. Steven Bush, MD and Dr. Ayad Gharghoury, MD as the hospital’s Doctors of the Year, for 2018. Selected by employee popular vote, these physicians are recognized for their excellence in patient care and compassion.

“I’m thrilled to celebrate the talent and expertise that Dr. Bush and Dr. Gharghoury have brought to Hi-Desert Medical Center,” said Karen Faulis, CEO of Hi-Desert Medical Center. “We are grateful for their leadership and dedication to our medical center and for the care they provide our patients each day.”

Dr. W. Stephen Bush has been on staff at Hi-Desert Medical Center since 1983. Dr. Bush is also on staff at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. Dr. Bush is a Pathologist, and while he doesn’t interact directly with patients, he is appreciated the most for his warm and friendly demeanor. According to his colleagues, Dr.Bush is always smiling and exuding his positive and uplifting energy.  

Dr. Ayad Gharghoury has been on staff at Hi-Desert Medical Center since 1994, and also serves on staff at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. Dr. Gharghoury specializes in Pulmonology, Critical Care and Internal Medicine. According to his colleagues, he is a wonderful, patient and kind physician. Dr.Gharghoury sees patients in Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley and in Palm Springs.
