Get Back on the Course
Feb 10, 2017Free Sports Medicine Golf Clinic
Attention golfers: Desert Regional Medical Center and Avid Physical Therapy invite you to “Get Back on the Course” – a free sports medicine Q&A and golf clinic at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage on February 24 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. If you love golf, this is a great way to spend a lunch break and boxed lunches will be provided. At this two-in-one opportunity you’ll learn how to stay injury free on the golf course as well as get some tips for improving your golf score!
Sports medicine specialists Louis Stabile, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, and Ryan Wood, DPM, a podiatric surgeon, both on staff at Desert Regional Medical Center, along with Vince Kambe, DPT, of Avid Physical Therapy will be available to answer your questions about treatment of sports injuries and injury prevention. They are all avid golfers, themselves, and understand the biomechanics of golf first hand as well as clinically. This is a great opportunity to get your questions answered in a casual environment.
Bring your golf clubs to this event, as you’ll also enjoy a golf clinic by PGA Professional Barry Clayton of the Barry Clayton Golf Academy. This event will be held on the driving range of the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort located at 71333 Dinah Shore in Rancho Mirage. Reservations are required. RSVP to (800) 491-4990 or click here to register.
Dr. Stabile, Dr. Wood and Vince Kambe, DPT, are independent contractors and not employees, agents or representatives of Desert Regional Medical Center. They are solely responsible for the provision of medical services to their patients
