Welcome to Desert Regional Medical Center's Graduate Medical Education Programs. Desert Regional Medical Center is located in Palm Springs, California within the Coachella Valley. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, we are able to provide a supportive and cohesive academic environment, where all of our faculty, residents, staff, and students work together to provide high quality patient care with a focus on the community and enhancing healthcare access to those most vulnerable.

The institution is committed to excellence in both education and patient care by providing the resources needed to ensure a strong foundation for the residents and fellows to promote both personal and professional growth. The programs at Desert Regional Medical Center provide outstanding training opportunities that allow residents and fellows to not only develop strong clinical skills, while providing scholarly research opportunities, but also encourage experiences that build leadership and mentorship skills.

Our GME team and committee members are dedicated in ensuring that both the institution and individual programs follow all accreditation requirements, while continuing to promote research, teaching, and lifelong learning.
