Dr. Louis Stabile is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon. He brings over 30 years of experience to our practice, including advanced fellowship training as an Orthopedic Trauma Fellow/Superchief. Dr. Stabile’s sub-specialty interests include General Orthopedics, Orthopedic Trauma, Robotic Assisted Knee Replacements, Adult Reconstruction—particularly the Anterior approach for Total Hip Replacement. The waiting time from registration to X-ray to being seen by an attendant, nurse and then Dr. Stabile was pretty fast compared to an emergency room visit which takes about an hour and a half to two hours, the whole process from start to finish was only about 40 to maybe 45 minutes,tops!!!Pretty quick!!!

I was very fortunate that I reached a very empathetic P.A. When I called for an appointment. I explained that I'd barely received the Authorization myself but how desperate I was to see Dr. Friscia so that he could determine how to resolve my pain. I had a pre-existing condition in my right knee that I was on the verge of having a partial knee replacement for 3 years prior. I had been my husband's caregiver for many years and although his cancer was in remission he was not doing well after radiation and chemotherapy for a laryngeal stage IV tumor after tracheostomy. So I put off my treatment. In July 2022 Arturo passed away and I was no longer on my feet 24/7 and cooking and cleaning and driving to doctors appointments. My pain dissipated to such a degree that I forgot how bad It had been. I was having financial difficulties because I had no savings from work from either of us for almost 2 decades prior to his death because neither of us were working, and I decided to take an opportunity to work for 15 days as a Security Guard at the Tennis Gardens, something I had become registered and trained for. My shifts were 12 hours 15 days In a row and by the 5th day I was In so much pain that I had to take a couple days off. I then worked one day on one day off until the end of the Tournament so I would at least earn something. By the time I was finally home I was a mess and I called IEHP to request an emergency appointment. Presently I have another complication that I have no Primary Doctor and I was hoping to be able to ask Dr Stabile if he would be my Primary. We have always had a very good Doctor/Patient relationship in the decades he has treated both my husband and myself and I have always considered him to be professional and dependable and very cool-headed. The surgery he performed on my left knee in 2016, partial replacement, was and still is a complete success and I have recommended him to many people over the years.
