Clinically, Dr. Verma addresses all the patient’s cardiac needs and has a special interest in complex high risk PCI and mechanical circulatory support. He has successfully performed almost 1000 PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) procedures, over 80% via radial artery in the wrist, which confers improved patient satisfaction and decreased complications. He is very adept and quick, while ensuring he is performing these procedures safely, thoroughly and effectively. He believes in attending to the patient as a human being and giving a patient the opportunity to embrace life changes for an improved quality of life. Dr. Verma has a background of extensive training and in return has some outstanding accomplishments such as being named top 2 Interventionalists by volume, while maintaining the lowest vascular complication rate. He led his team in Pueblo CO in launching the Impella program and ensured all protocols were reviewed and implemented, training was received by all personnel, and he also performed ongoing reviews of each case to maximize success. He is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Echocardiography, Internal Medicine and Level II certified in Nuclear Cardiology.
