Acerca de Todd Swenning
Dr. Todd Swenning is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and also currently the chief of staff elect and medical director of orthopedic trauma at Desert Regional Medical Center. Dr. Swenning is passionate about caring for victims of trauma and the management of complex life and limb threatening injuries and fractures. His robust understanding of the complexities of the musculoskeletal system ensures the best possible outcomes for his patients. In addition to local, national and international leadership roles, Dr. Swenning is proud of his work with IMA Helps, a nonprofit medical mission troupe dedicated to providing medical care to those in need locally and around the globe. Away from the hospital, Dr. Swenning enjoys golf, reading, Dodger baseball and spending time with his family. While he considers raising “three good humans” his greatest accomplishment, he fully acknowledges that Mommy did most of the heavy lifting in this area.

Dr. Swenning listened carefully to my description of my condition, asked pertinent questions, reviewed my MRI with me and thoroughly explained his recommendation for treatment with me.

Because my physical condition is very good, range of motion is very good, and pain level is geatly reduced, shoulder replacement surgery can be delayed until my condition worstens. I am grateful for his honest reply, and to be avoiding unnecessary surgery.
