Candice Dubose, MD

Dr. Candice Dubose is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon and recent Director of the Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship Program for the University of Alabama in Birmingham. In addition to her advanced studies in pelvic, lower extremity reconstruction and orthopedic trauma, Dr. Dubose has been recognized by the American Orthopedics Association as an Emerging Leader in orthopedics. Very early in her clinical career she began as a labor and delivery nurse for 9 years. This unique perspective of caring for patients as a nurse, physician and orthopedic leader gives her a better understanding of her patient’s care needs at every level. She is most proud when she is able to help her patients and get them back to their daily lives. Outside the office, Dr. Dubose enjoys music, spending time with her family and her 6 rescue dogs. Dr. Dubose speaks English and Spanish.
